This is a run for the Amber Alert of MN. Until talking to a friend of mine that helps run this, I was clueless how an Amber alert happens. When a child gets abducted and you see the signs on the highway, and the radio staions are broadcasting information about it, I thought they did this as a courtesy because a child got abducted. Well, I was WRONG!!!!! The Radio stations charge anywheres from a few hundred dollars up to $3500 each time they broadcast the info. The funds for this are raised by people like those that do the Amber Alert run and other great charities. The Amber Alert run is one of the biggest money raisers for the alerts. I have 2 small kids, and I know I will be there to support them, will you??? What better cause then for kids!!!!
