When's Spring???

Well, we got a deluge of rain which cleaned the roads nicely. Something like 4 inches in 4 days - which lead to flooding in and around my town. But at least the salt and winter crap is off the pavement.

It's supposed to be in the 50s for a few days starting tomorrow. Then right back to the 30s.

Where is that Global Warming that Al Gore is always talking about? I sure could go for a few more 50s or 60s before the end of March!

Winter is too damned long.

Spring usually follows winter. However, if the weather here lately is any indication, spring will arrive sometime in late 2011.

Took the tarp off the fishpond and fishies are beginning to swim. Water lilies have begun to sprout.

The cats' neighborhood boyfriends have been serenading in the back yard at night.

Birds are pairing up.

Daughter got sunburned pruning trees last week.

All good signs.

S'posed to rain on Monday and that will get the salt washed off the roads. But it's a given that we'll have at least one more snowstorm here before things settle down.

Got the bike set to ride now and counting the last few days.
