You know what's sad, is I've lived here for 11 years and really can't suggest much. I would highly recommend riding down to Brown County if you get the chance. I've heard there's some good riding down that way, still haven't made it down myself.

Indy is a great town. The NCAA hall of fame is in Indy. The new Lucas Oil Stadium. Victory Field is a beautiful minor league baseball park. The Indianapolis Zoo is first rate. There is a racing museum at the 500 track that is excellent. During the same time of the Moto GP, they are holding flat track races at the fairgrounds located near 38th and College. That's a dangerous neighborhood though. I wouldn't suggest a night time tour of that area.
That's all mainly sports stuff. I could go on. What type of stuff are you interested in?
I have eaten at Sahpiro's Delicatessen many times. Dont miss it.
Acapulco Joes Mexican food is one of my favorites. Amici's Downtown Italian is good too.
