Milwaukee area residents?

Is west Beloit Road a decent rout to get from US45 up to miller park?

I am coming up for the HOG deal on Thursday and I would rather stay off of the super slab. US45 is the rout I would rather use.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Where exactly are you coming from? I wouldn't use that road...but, again, it depends on where you are starting. Let me know!

If you're coming from the south on I43, I'd get off on Hwy 100, go north to Blue Mound Rd, then head east. Keeps you off the highway, and Blue Mound Rd. is pretty nice. You'll go past the Zoo, small residential, then you cross Hawley Rd. Soon after Hawley, hang a right into the Miller Park north parking lot.

I am coming up from Illinois on US 45. I might try I94 for a while but if the traffic bunches up I will go over to US 45.

I can ride the super slab but I don't like the tension if gives me. 75 and 80 are no problem but.....

I guess I would get there quicker on the interstate.

I really think the best way would be to stick to 45, then 94, then head east. It should be all bikes, so shouldn't be too bad.
