Help with registering custom in Wisconsin...

Good morning


I searched all over the net this morning and thought I would join here and see if anyone could help me out.

Im planning to begin a new custom bike build.

However before doing so I want to make sure I got all my ducks in a row so to speak. I have heard/read various opinions some say its a piece of cake others say its a real pain.

Does anyone know a site, which lists exactly what I need to do. DOT site doesnt say much. Im kinda figuring you have to account for the frame (which Im purchasing from known company) and engine/trans and thats where Im at now. I have my eye on a damaged bike, and just wondering what I need to do to gain the engine/trans etc.
