MMI build

As most of us know there are some MMi system that work and other not so much. This is the customer that I posted up the picture of the heads with the trench cut into them. That build was a 95 inch with SE pistons and cylinders, S&S 510 cam, PCIIIR and rinehart t duals with 2 1/4 baffles. It had problems from the heads to the cylinders. ( se kit that had anywhere from .002 - .0041 piston to wall spec) So bore and hone to 98 inch set compression to 9.5, upgrade to andrews 26N set up. CNC heads and a HPI 48 T/b for the MMI system. For those that are working with older bikes and want to keep the EFI this throttle body is tops!!! We have used it since HPI came out with it. Mary Jo and here crew over there got this down cold. Great up grade for any performance work. The bike will start and idle like a delphi, once set there is no issues with the hot and cold idle etc. Being that this customer is pulling a trailer we want to build some good low end tq. I think we handled that and then some.

Nice build, it shows that power CAN be made with the Magnetti Mareli systems if the shortcomings are addressed

RHTD and pulling a trailer? what was they thinkin? that thing is dead down low (typical TD) peak tq at 4000 rpm with a 26? and they tow??? steve, you couldnt talk em into a better exhaust, 3:37 gears, and get the torque over to the left? i know, some just wont let us do it like we know will work. its a headache for sure.

you done good tho on the tune, thats the furthest to the right i have ever seeen a 26 make tq. heck, most 26 builds are falling over around 3600. i kept wondring what MMI meant. till i saw you mention marelli. LOL super tuner?
