FXR repower project...

I am in the process of installing a complete Ultima El Bruto 100ci, 110hp at rear wheel power plant in my 93 FXR... I thought ya'll might want to see some pics....

I got a new (32) stator

new encapsulated rotor

new chrome voltage regulator (which I will paint black)

new engine stabilizer links, HD=$100 what a way of thinking...

waiting on more parts and time to make it all work. Will keep yall updated after the weekend, I plan to have it running tomorrow if the creek don't rise...wtf

finished all paint and parts, I fired it up yesterday afternoon, scared the h*ll out of my dog. He cleared out in a hurry. Now for the 500mile breakin...

Still doing the break in. I can tell it got more power by just starting off and a small twist of the throttle. Trying to keep it under 60mph.

I started on my new RAT project this weekend, already having to make changes to my original plan, the oil tank probably won't fit where it should, as the seat will be dropped 4 inches.

I got some over 5000 miles on it now. It will jump when you rip on it. I lost about 4.5 miles to the gallon when it comes to fuel. Once you go from the 80, it will be hard to go back and be satisfied with the power.
