Indeed, it's an Avon 21". It's mismatched with a Dunlop back tire as of now. Going to get a mtched set when some money comes in. As is, I am getting a little rattle out of the front caliper. Searching for a clip or something to dampen the rattle at low speeds. Any ideas?

Looks like I have to sell her to get a house...
Changed things around a bit before the last trip to Iraq. Now I am done and ready to settle down. Did not think this thread would get this big.

Wasn't there 2 different FXLR's?
FXLR
FXLR/C - the custom with a sold rear wheel, leather tank strap, factory "forwards"
Here's mine - started as a 92 FXLR/C

and when I was almost finished:

After!

frtdrmrose7 you have a great looking bike, I love the color of it. It's almost the same color as my 2004 Grand Prix GTP which is Fusion Orange Metallic.
chammer that's a cool bike you have, I like the way you have it setup. The inverted forks are awesome, and that rear swingarm is pretty trick. Did you install the swingarm and where did you get it?

Thanks LRC...Swingarm was my nightmare. It's made by JMC (UK)--------> http://www.swingarm.com/ ...38 weeks waiting
well after all it's nice quality but still not sure if it's worth of loooong waiting.
Installing was easy, special thanks to true-track ... http://www.true-track.com/1_2006_015.htm

Holy cow chammer, that True Track setup is VERY expensive! It seems like a big improvement over the stock setup (I'm a toolmaker/machinist so I know quality parts when I see them) but that price is hard to swallow. I didn't see any prices for the swingarm, but I'll bet it was probably around the same price as the True Track.

That's a sharp looking bike Powermaster, it's the same color as my 94 FXLR. Your trans looks different than mine, is that a 4 speed or a 5 speed?
