Thanks! It rolled in for a paintjob - and then a few "Wouldn't it be cool IFs" - and a lot of "Well, while we are at it we might as well...."
It changed from a Wideglide-looking FXR to a full blown bagger...
It even has a matching removable Luggage rack & Tourpak

Man that's quite a transformation, you sure did an excellent job on your bike. I love that wild paint job!

Thanks, that was a hobby 25 years ago that has gradually turned into my primary means of making a living :-)

Here's a current pic of my 1991 113" FXRT, just put the Corbin bags on need to paint them to match. I need to get a real camera!

That's nice looking bike indeed, the black & orange are great together! Your bike looks like a Low Rider, and it has the same bars as mine. Did it come that way from the factory or did you make some changes to it?

You guys should host your pics at photobucket.com (it's free) then copy/paste the link so all of us can see your bike.

Work in Progress
I’ve been working on this for a couple of months now. I work days and teach four nights a week, cuts into my fun time and my build time.
She’s in epoxy primer for now, and will be for a while, I need some ride time. I hope to go with either a WG or Springer w/ 21X 120 tire, the rear is a 210 on a 17” rim. I haven't decided on a seat yet. I think the hardest part was the rewiring for the new front light.
84 FXRS
Metzler 210-50 ZR 17
I welcome any and all comments; good or bad.
David

bronco thats cool, did you offset the powertrain, and widen the frame swingarm to accomadate that tire, I see ya went to a chain.

Yes to all, except it's an 84 FXRS and came with a chain.
