new pipes are on the way and i bobbed the fender a little more. the straight duece style cut looked good in the silver but i wanted more of a bobbed look to go with the black. anyway i will post some pics when i get the pipes.

That tail light is funny but, what will be real funny is when the cops start pullin ya over because of it just to harass you.

That is a pretty slick idea... how is holding up? Did it come out really textured? Did you do the frame and the chrome with the same stuff?
I got exile black on my fxr... and it holding up pretty good.

I'd leave it the way it is...too much texture for a good flame job...may even have a hard time getting it striped...
Looks cool - simple, bad-ass...it works!

Gotta know...
Did you use the rattle-cans, or gun? I think it looks totally bada$$, and am contemplating doing the same to mine. I can't use a spray gun, but I think with a little patience I could pull off the rattle-can job.

I'm going to venture a guess and say it was the duplicolor in rattle can...
Prep is most important and of course even, 50-50 overlapping strokes. You'll want to shake the can real good, makes some passes (depressing the trigger after each!) and shake, and repeat...
Light, multiple coats always work better than heavy wet coats...
If going over clear, wetsand it with 600 grit and you should be ok. I would prime first, but that's me...

Henry FORD once said about the T Model FORD;
" ...you can have it in any colour you want so long as it's BLACK"
I like the low stance of your bike, are those standard Harley FLT shocks?
I'd like to lower my bike so the gap between the tyre & fender is reduced but still have the option to raise it if carrying a pillion or for better cornering.
