Six Piston Caliper

Anyone running a six-piston caliper? If so what brand, and does it improve braking drastically? Was also wondering if the stock master cylinder is adequate or if it needs to be upgraded with the caliper? Thanks

I have a jaybrake 6 piston caliper on my 86 fxr . I had both a warped disc and crap brakes so i ordered a one piece disc and a caliper from JIREH. There part# is 90-510 left side caliper it is on page 5/56 inthere 08 catolog. phone # is 877-681-0448. I bought this for 299.00 plus shipping and that was ,like 6 bucks. This is a bolt tight caliper so you do need a good disc. While i did this i replaced my line and rebuilt the stock master cylinder just for safty sake. This sucker will just flat stop now... The caliper came in a j&p wrapeper and was 100 bucks off retail. The disc was # 90-754 & 44.95 Looks stock page 5/61 these fit all 84-99 11 1/2" front and the caliper fits 84-99 with 11 1/2" disc. Check my prevous post and you will find ways to bleed the system . I ended up doing the tap, tap, tap, way to do the air bleed after useing a needle to push new fluid in. Like i said this gave me the best front brake i have had on a harley .
