Question No Oil in My EVO ?

The Oil Pump fittings were weeping on my '91 FXR. I remove the lines, nipples and elbows, apply some thread tape, re assemble and all is well right, Wrong!
For some reason the pump isn't feeding, the supply has oil to the pump but no pressure. I am a former pro,(20 yrs ago) things were re assembled correctly and triple checked. I am really baffled.
Anyone had a similar experience?

I'm no expert but I would be interested in what was causing the weeping in the first place. You may have something blocking flow on the inside and when you removed the pump it may have moved to a full blocking position. Just a thought? I would be interested in what you find.

Got it fixed now. I started over form scratc, ronoved all oil lines and fittings , flushed the tank and found some debris in there and in the tappet screen. It's all good now.
