Don't know about the interoperability of parts, other than to say that I really wish they would separate the two models on ebay. Then again, many people think they are the same bike....
As far as posting a picture, I use photobucket. Once you have it uploaded in photobucket, leftclick on the bottom of the four options below the picture. For photobucket, these are the 4 options- (you want to left click on IMG code)
Email & IM
Direct Link
HTML Code
IMG Code
Then go to your post, right click where you want the picture. This is the size you will get from photobucket
Some people on here use imageshack, but I know nothing about it. Hope this helps,
Andy

Mike, nice looking bike. Is that a police model or did you just install the bags on an FXR? They look like police bags to me. The picture I showed you is a bike called Black Death. It was a bike that was designed by Mickey Rourke for a movie, then he ended up using it in "Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man". The original was a late 80's FXR that had quite a bit of work done to it (Bartel's HD I think). It's what started me wanting an FXR. Here's what that copy looks like.
Here's the original Black Death (number 3 I think)

Andy, I thought that tank looked like one I had seen before...
Thats as low as a FXR can go.
and YES my baby is a cop bike, city of Sunrise Fla. in 94&95
guy I got it from bought it in 96 from the city and I bought it 6 weeks ago. had the rear tire changed yesterday and the mechanic rides it out and says man this bike runs great, like a cop bike should run.
It came with some goodies

That is a good looking bike! How do you like the police bags for it? I am looking at some off those from Elvis' Place. It was either those or FXRT clamshells. i think I will go with the police bags because of how they hinge. Is that an oil pressure gauge that mounts to the rear rocker box? I just noticed the Screaming Eagle heads as well. Once again, nice bike!

Thanks Cat.
The cop bags are very easy to use, the latches are quick and I have the keys, I saw some on ebay....
Elvis has stuff I would like to get but I'm on the east coast and the shipping coast more than the part.....
The frame on your bike has had alot of moulding work...nice

Check the police bike forums and threads. There are many out there. I mentioned in a post last year about it being hard to find the foot boards and saddlebags. I got 3 PMs from guys that had one or the other for sale.

Today I installed a set of Vance & Hines Bigshots Staggered pipes for a Dyna on my FXLR and they fit good. I had to make a couple mounting brackets then attached one to the frame and one to the pipes with rubber in between them.
