1985 fxrs oil leak

i have noticed oil leaking from around the starter selonoid where it mounts to the primary can anyone point me in the right direction to fix this problem. i havent pulled it off yet didnt know if theres a gasket that might be bad. thanks in advance for the help

The solenoid has a foam-type of gasket but it´s not just to loosen it and pull it out since it´s connected to the starter via a fork and a link on the inside of the trany.
If you do it the wrong way here you will angage your starter by misstake so be careful.
Disconect your battery before working on the solenoid.
I have never heard of anyone who has a faulty solenoid gasket unless it was faulty mounted.
