Think This Will Fit a 1987 FXR?

I'm looking at this tank (mine has a dent that was in it when I bought it) at http://tinyurl.com/63z45m . I'm curious if it'll fit a FXR frame. It looks like it will take the same dash that my 1979 FXS (Lowrider) had, the one that has separate tach/speedo's, high beam indicator and odometer reset (yes?). But I'm curious about the fit on the frame. Is a FXRS and FXR frame the same?

Yes,it appears to be the one piece FXR tank but I couldn't tell you if the tach/speedo set would fit.
They made fat bob aftermarket tanks for FXRs that take the roadking type speedo and that may be what you are looking at there.
There were also some FXR Lowriders that had the speedo/tach setup,it could also be one of those.
Either way it's an FXR tank.
