Thak a great bar hopper look . If you want better front brakes? Check out jireh catolog ,bought a jaybrake 6 piston caliber for 299 and makes this thang stop like a sportbike ,,,well almost. Better than any hd i have rode. And the part came in a jp wrapper. That price is 100 off retail. whent on easy.

i actually like it better. takes the bumps much softer, probably the combo of having a longer bike and a better 41mm set of springs. it is a little heavier turning at real slow (parking lot speeds), but not much. glad i did it. second bike i have used a raked front end on without modifying the neck. all that bad handling talk is bs.

Nice job, that's a heavy duty set of forks you got there. I just had my wideglide forks rebuilt, when the guy took them apart there were no seals in them. No wonder they were leaking oil!

they are actually 07 fx tubes and internals, 86-99 fl lowers, after market raked trees and a custom cycle engineering axle. stock front wheel, brakes and speedo gear.

Nice look!
I did the same thing on an FXR a while back. Sure gives the bike a 'beefier' profile.

5* ultima trees i picked up off ebay for almost nothing. the rear shocks are a set of bagger air shocks that have been custom lowered to 10.75 inches by phoenix customs (now bitchen baggers).
