LSR Rb racing pipes will clear FXRT bags, this is on my 91, with 2 inch primaries behind my 113" S&S

The pipe is about as loud as a set of drag pipes. The make a straight 2into1 as well as the upswept. I have the upset one, and yes, it will hurt a set of bags. My buddy just put a straight one on his 04 softail and sounds and looks good. As for the wrap on the pipe. Wrapping a pipe generally voids warranties, but does protect the leg well. My pant leg caught on fire, after a high speed pass on I95. Interesting. The wrap will also cause the pipe to blue and corrode more.

I just installed a set of Vance & Hines Bigshots Staggered on my FXLR and they look/sound awesome. I made a couple mounting brackets out of aluminum flat stock and put a piece of rubber between them and bolted it to the frame.

My friend has changed Supertrapp 2-1 for some Samson big shots (don`t realy know - short dragpipes) on his custom (based on softail frame, engine &tranny). seems that Supertrapp from softail will fit my FXR maybe I will need just to make some mounting bracket.

I put Edelbrock head on with new pistons....tried Hooker first with some short shot looking pipes and they didn't even come close to fitting. Beware..after I called to return them the rep told me that that model never fit!! Ended up drilling out the baffles in the stock exhaust, just for fun..have a new set of cycle shack that look exactly like stock, and the chrome looks good. I'll let you know what they sound like once I put them on after I get done breaking in the engine.
