1993 Fxrl

My niece is looking at a 1993 FXRL. I don't know FXRs for anything.
Is this a good one? I don't like asking noob questions but I just don't know.
She just got her class "M" and her husband is taking her there to look at it.
Damn I remember when she was born now she's getting her first Harley. No that's not a tear!!! I'm just happy for her.

I know people have nothing but good to say about the FXR.

Looks like a nice bike. $7500 is at the top of scale IMO for that bike. It says only 11,000 miles so the price may be acceptable. The handlebars are considered to be one of the more comfortable stock bars and good for long rides. They are also one of the only sets of bars with factory "in the bar" wiring, well at least in the last 30 or so years.

The 91-94 FXR's are considered to be the best when it comes to FXR's. Better (splined) transmission, better clutch, better starter etc...

Good, glad to hear it. I'm hoping her first bike will be good. I hope the previous owner took good care of it.

She ended up getting a 2005 Low Rider.

That would be a smok'n deal out here,I'd love to have that bike.
Local dealer seems to think they are gold plated,they'd be asking about $12-14K for that bike.
I'd say on the open market around here it would fetch $9K pretty easy maybe even $10K.
Clean unmolested low mile FXRs are hard to come by,man I'd love to have another one someday.

i know i sure would like to have it at that price, wow, that is a good price for that scooter, ummm , i do beleive that's a FXRC which is a lowrider custom
the only one they made with a 21" front wheel. nice ride it'll make someone happy for sure.
