Big Green Egg. Who's got one

I have been cooking on the Big Green Egg for about a year now and can't imagine going back to a gas grill. What is you favorite recipe to do on the egg?

We like the pizza also. We also like whole turkey marinated in Jack Daniels. Very juicy

Would someday like to add a BGE to my collection. Very efficient style smoker, there are also some other comparable smokers that are the same ceramic construction but a little less expensive without the BGE name. For now though I will remain content with my Brinkman Professional smoker with an offest horizontal smoke box and a 60" grill, my Brinkman Vertical Water Smoker, and no less than 5 webbbers of various sizes. No gas grill has ever been used at any house of mine and I refuse to use other people's at bbqs and such.

To be honest. Me and my green egg are not seeing eye to eye right now. I am having issues with hot spots and temp control. The egg is being a little bitch right now. So to teach her a.lesson im using a 35 dollar home depot special charcoal grill. She will learn or she will be cold. The little green bitch will comply.

Have you cleaned the grease build up on the inserts. It seems to help when I get hot spots fro time to time

I have a bradley smoker and love it. Just set the time and temp and load it with waffers and let it go, hands off. It is insulated and has a door seal like a frig and cost less than the egg. You can low temp smoke with it also. Smoked cheese anyone?
