Welcome Dennis.

We have the Touring Edition DVD's that cover some basic maintenance principles for twin cams disc 1, and Evos disc 2. Both were a birthday gift from my wife when I told her I needed a tool to change a couple parts on the bike. I have been helped out of a bind once or twice. This forum has covered most everything in the DVD's as well. Seeing the front forks fluid changing process was helpful and gave me the confidence to attempt it on my own. I was a bit messier, but it all got cleaned up.

YMMV.

I recently got the softail version. the instructions are more than adequate. I got the dvd for the visual on some of the "anatomy" that was confusing from the shop book. I have a Springer 2007 and while there are some discrepancies between the family, it is a very worth while addition.
thanks

I ordered my Touring Edition "Fix My Hog" DVD several years ago. I still use it today. It's always nice to see it over and over again, before you start working on your bike. I perform my own services on my bike, so the video is crucial IMHO, along with the service manual.

Yep, I have the touring and softail DVD's and they are really worthwhile. Welcome to VTF!

i have a friend that bought a custom built softtail that had 350 miles on it.
we were rideing when the bike just died, we change out the plugs and drove another 20 miles and it did it again.we hauled the bike back to the shop check things out . changed the intake seals, changed the coil, plug wires, the rev tech igniton, and checked the compression also ,it was at 125 p dry and wet the motor is also a rev tech 100 /2004
i am lost on what to do now any one know what to do.
