ran it on the 05 flh in my sig...also tried rinehart 2 into 1, thunderheader 2 into 1, stock headpipes with slip-ons...roadrage made best tq, same hp as t-header...loud as hell with the standard baffle...but it's a great sound...imo the reverse megaphone is best muffler type...really like the hoop-de-doo of the rear pipe...it makes equal length with the front and really looks like serious business...no i don't work for them lol

dawg, the rinehart makes noise, not power. the 2-1 supertrapp can be quiet or loud, pending on disc configuration. quiet is torque early. loud is hp late. this is a generalzation, but you get the idea. dont run 11 to 1 compression anf late cam, with 12 discs!!!!

I have them and IMO they produce the best power on the market. The fella that did my tuning out in PA (JDcycles) said these pipes produced the flattest power curve he's ever seen. There better than my old thunderheaders.
Quality I'd say they are average. I have them in black with their new heat shields.
Sound is unique, deep NASCAR type sound. They are loud but not as loud as the Thunderheaders. I love the sound of these pipes.
As far as hearing the radio, I have a 103 HQ build on a 07 Roadglide with the stock Radio and have no problem hearing it at high way speeds. During the winter I ride with a Clearview shield and hear the Radio just fine. In the summer I'm running with a KlockWerks 8" screen at highway speeds the sound is not as good as with the Clearview. So I'm planning on upgrading the radio to a Hawgwired unit this winter.

if you want quiet, stock headpipes with build-matched slip-ons are the chit...cheap and perform well...supertrapp supermeg is the king of quiet, but does have issues with big inch, high horsepower builds...call me at 931-436-8857 and I'll crank up the red bike and let you listen to a supertrapp 2 into 1 on a hotrod motor

One post here says they have a flat curve. If RC in Hayward (Bob) did the tune, he should have been able to get it out, if the build components are properly matched.

The fella who did my tune was JD from JDCYCLES in PA. He stated that he has done a number of tunes on HQ builds and this was the first he'd done with the RR. He said it was the flattest curve he's ever seen.
I found out about the RR in an American Iron Tuner magazine. This one had an article on a crazy build and they tried different pipes. The RR according to the article out performed all the top pipes. So I gave the pipes a try and so far love the power and the sound.
Note, on the quality side I've had issues. I ordered the black pipes because I noticed the chrome pipes discolored in some photo's I saw. I sent the first set of black pipes back because some of the black coating came off around the collector. At first I thought it was my fault because I had wrapped the pipes. The second set some of the coating came off when I tried to wipe something off of them when they were hot. By that point I loved the power and sound of these pipes so much that I was determined to figure out a way to resolve the problem and keep the pipes. They came out with heat shields for the black pipes that hid everything. My other option was to have them ceramic coated by someone else. If you do get them in black get the shields.

Forgot to mention that the heat shields also reduce the amount of heat I was getting under the seat. The shields also cover that donut shape part of the pipes that's right underneath the rider. I also have RJ Originals heat deflectors and together with the heat shields they do a great job.
