Question Balance tube

Stupid ? of the day Is that a balance tube on my 05 FXDWG down by the trans. dipstick that tie the 2 pipes together?If I were to get a set of new pipes like say some long shots would the new set be tied together some sort of way or r they seperate?

Since nobody's answered... here's what I THINK...

Yes, your factory pipe has a crossover pipe. I've never heard of aftermarket, non 2-1 type pipes, with a crossover or balance pipe.

duckman111 is on a distinguished road
Vance and Hines makes some pipes with Power Chamber technology. That is a way to tie the two pipes together for better overall performance, and still have the looks of two seperate pipes.
