if your going with the 2-1,which I believe the pro pipe is,heck ya you will notice a difference.I just checked on a build and the same pipe was reconmended for peak performance.gd luck, you will love it.I run the same pipe.

You should have the tune adjusted for the pipe.

I switched from Big Shots to the Propipe a year and half ago. Performance improved very noticably, and I like the sound!
You'll like the PP. And yes, you should have the bike tuned to the pipe.

never used pro-pipe...what I hear from friends in the know, bp is not as good as hs...hs had a tuneable baffle and iirc, bp does not...there may be a torque dip and not sure that it flows enough to support your build...would love to see some dyno charts with the bp, as it may be a better value than supertrapp, d&d, bassani, etc

propipe
the hs isnt available for 06 dynas, went with the bp for 480.00 from dennis kirk. hopeing to quiet it down without losing any power, the rush slipons made good numbers, but are loud.

I would not be thinking a big drop in db's will happen. The PP is a good performer, but it's known to get loud with an engine build. And this was the case with the 95" I did. I had to start wearing ear plugs to stop the ringing I was having all day. The neighbors didn't care for it either.

my neighbor has the bp and he's making 108/116 with an 07 103 with a high lift cam no torque tip whatsoever, more like a wide lollipop. the fatcat will have a flatter curve and come on earlier in the curve. i've seen 103's with similiar builds (mine)side by side on the dyno and on the road.

my boss has a 103,s.e.heads,258s,he used rineharts 2in1 ,it has a big trq dip between 2000 an 3000, he has been to 3 diffrent tuners that cant get the dip out, they all blame it on the rineharts. thats why i decided to use the propipe.

Propipe vs Slip-on's
2 into 1's are the only pipes that make either HP or more importantly (to me anyway) torque, the best you can hope for out of any dual system is that they don't cost you any.
We sell far more 2 into 1's at the dealership I work at than any other aftermarket or HD accessory exhaust, 98% of the employees here ride and 90% of them run 2 into 1's, with Thunderheader being #1.
We have had the same torque fall off problem with the Rienharts on stock motors, however with 103 and lager it seems to be easier to tune out.
