Rush slip ons

Well, the wife pulled the trigger on a 2008 Softail Deluxe yesterday. Of course, it sounds like crap with the factory exhaust. I'm leaning towards rush slip ons (27501). I've read all the threads I could on adding fuel mgt. and more air. I'm running V&H slip ons on my Ultra with no other mods and it runs great. Anyone else running the rush slip ons with no other mods? Thanks.

I am!

You can check my gallery for the before/after dyno and air fuel ratios.

mstngjoe.........I recently installed Rush 1 3/4" slippons on my 95" Roadglide. Should I have gone with a larger baffel to get better performance? It runs good but was just wondering if it would be a better combination the 95"

From what I have read and understand, any difference in performance between the 1.75 & the 2.0 would be minimal.

I doubt you'd feel a SOTP difference and likely would be hard pressed to pick up anything on a dyno either.

I liked the sound slightly more with the 2.0 is the only reason for my choice.

Thumbs up

Thanks for your quick reply. Think I'll stick with what I got until they wear out.

I have RUSH slip ons on my 08 Ultra with no mods and they sound great! That plus they are less expensive than most other pipes makes them a great buy!
I did add XIED's too but not to increase the fuel to match the increased air running through the pipes. i did it to reduce the heat, and mission accomplished. Between the XIED's and synthetic oil in all three holes the oil temp is down nearly 20 degrees and the bikes runs much better with the extra air and fuel.

I have Rush slip on's on my 09 Super Glide. Went with the 1-3/4 " baffles with no other mods done to bike. Have no problems except for a few decel. pops every once in awhile but nothing really annoying or to be concerned about since there are so few of them. Other then that there fine, also they took about 50 miles to get the real sound out of them.
