Question cones for king

In taking off the vance and hines exh. that were on my bike, it had the torque power cones added.

I am putting back on the bike, stock units, Would it hurt to keep the cones intalled? Would they even fit? Or, would it be a waste?

same basic question

I posted a question about the use of torque cones, either pro or con, a while back and got no response.
I guess no one on here uses them.

The cones are a proven way to separate a fool from his money. There are too many accounts of them doing nothing or causing problems. If they worked you would see race teams, professional engine builders and OEMs using them.

the V&H pipes killed low end (under 3500 rpm) so the cones were added to try and make up for the loss, in turn, killing top end.

your stock headpipes will make so much more bottom it will feel like you should have spent $600 for em.

It would be a waste with the stock pipes.

most new pipes have an anti-reversion feature built in, the only real application for torque cones would be short drag pipes, to provide some backpressure.
