exhaust questions for 08 fxdb

first let me say this place is great for info & want to thank all who answer these questions straightup with no hidden BS...too much out there...ok...i got a streetbob, has plenty power for me,if i wanted any faster i woulda got a sportbike..but.....i want the next note or two up on exhaust..been hangin at the HD dealer at times & found i like the rush slip on sound better than most S.E. slip ons that ride in..was also thinkin of puttin long pipes like i had on my last ride but all i could find was COBRA SPEEDSTERS & NOT SURE HOW THEY are all in all...but either way i have to do something about fuel management.was goin to put XIEDS,K&N,SE SLIPONS & CALL IT A DAY but can i do that with the rushes? i dont know how either one looks or how they differ but at this present time with economics the way it is ,the COIN is not in my favor..PCIII IS OK I GUESS BUT DONT LIKE THE WAY IT WORKS.was gonna do the TTS MASTERTUNE THING which i think is the best but like i said...coin! whats your opinion? THANKS........RANDY

I also have a Street Bob, There are alot of ways to go, What I did first was find
some S.E. slash cut slip-ons from about an 05 model. They are somewhat loader than
the new smogger type S.E. mufflers you find nowadays. When I did my 103 build I
switched to a set of S&S slash cut slip-ons and they sounded better yet. I stay with
the slash cut thing because it kinda goes with the look of the bike. Thats just me
though.

I ran the SE muffs and a stage I a/c on just a stage 1 flash and it was ok. anything
more than that you need a PC-III or something like that.
