New Exhaust for '09s from Vance and Hines

Check this out. I wonder how much extra power is going to be added with this "chamber?"

It looks an awful lot like the stock pipe.

At $519, plus nearly $400 for slip-ons.

Spend two grand on pipes/ A/C and tuner/tuning, or

Have a Factory Stage II kit installed.

97 TQ and 79 HP

Just my nickle....but they do look cool.

A/C = air cleaner.

I like the look, but like witchitagreg said, they'd have to prove they get better torque and HP than the stock headers.

Personally, I like the Big Radius for the Touring line. I'd love to get a set in black for my '09 Street Glide. But first I want to see how it is going to effect my hp and torque.

brownjams will become famous soon enough
if I'm not mistaken hasn't Vance and Hines been doing the "power chamber" two into one into two for some time, just hide the chamber area more in previous pipes.

Yes but not for baggers.

I have them on my 03 Fatboy, the power chamber is well hidden.

Harder to do on a dresser and keep the chamber hidden.

Do I remember reading that the stock '09 headpipes have a catalytic converter built in? If so this would be one way to eliminate it.

Not all, fortunately.

There's two part numbers in the parts manual. One with the CC and one without.
