Hole in Header

I changed my exhaust today. The bike, an 05 Road King, was bought used about a year ago. I replaced the Rinehart TD with Vance and Hines Bigshots. When I removed the rear header pipe I found a hole about 1" x 1" in the bottom of the bend where it crosses over to the left side. The only problem I have have been struggling with was decel popping and have changed maps numerous times thanks to DynojetResearch. The map changes never totally got rid of the popping. I assume heat was the cause for the metal to fail. Has anyone else had this problem and what other problems could a hole in the exhaust create?

Contact Brad Williams in the warranty dept at Bub.There is a recall for the rear header cracking at the attach point of the bracket.Mine broke & created a 1 1/2" hole.Decel popping stopped after I put the new one on.Brad sent me a brand new header pipe & bracket kit at no cost.
