Hello everyone, I am new to the group and looking forward to sharing and learning, I just traded in my FXDWGI for a FLHX. I miss her but the ride is so much better. (Must be getting old)

First of all
Should I change to true duals, and if so which ones
I am going to do race tuner
and Open up the air

Dealer said no trues for that bike yet but they will be coming out soon, I gotta get off the stock.

Looking for sound looks performance

not gonna beat the performance of the stock 2-1-2 header... just get the mufflers of your choice... true duals will kill your low end... get a good intake, mufflers and a tune and you'll gain ALOT...

As I mentioned in another thread (or two) I put a Patriot Defender 2 into 1 on my 09 Street Glide. Fits great, sounds awesome and power is good. If you really look at the flow of the factory head pipe, although it is much better than the old ones, it's still not as good a an aftermarket 2 into 1.
I will agree that slip ons on the stock head pipe will be at least as good as an after market true dual and probably better.
