Remove Baffles on FI Model

I have a Stage 1 high airflow intake and exhaust with a remapped ECM on my '96 Evo. I also have the original stock mufflers.

Question is, if I take the baffles out of the stock mufflers (for a louder exhaust), will I still need to remap the ECM for a higher air flow or would the flow be similar to the high airflow SE mufflers?

I would like to be able to switch back and fourth if needed since some of the towns around here are anal about loud pipes.
