power commander mapping with thunder monsters

I just installed thunder monster baffles in V/H Big Shot Stag pipes. I am presently using the map for "with baffles" as opposed to "w/out baffles". Low to Mid range torque "seems" better but throttle response is not as good. Anyone have any experience or suggestions short of having my bike dyno tuned?

I had Thunder Monsters installed in my V&H Big Shots Staggered pipes. I had the Powercommander installed as well. I had to have it dyno'd due to no map for this combo. The shop owner who tuned it said it took a while to get it right, but it was money well spent. Excellent throtle response and definitley an increase in tourque. I would recommend having it dyno'd.

FatboyNH,

I was about to ask you the same thing. The combination that you have is pretty popular. I am sure that many others would be as interested in your map as I am. Do you have a stage I ECM flash?

Thanks,
Ranger

Sorry for the late response. I was up in Laconia this weekend for Bike Week. I do have the stage 1 ecm download. I'll have to see about the map. I received the dyno results from the shop, but not sure about what map they finally used. I will post later if i have it.

great! that's exactly what I what I need; stage 1, v/h bss, and thundermonsters. I appreciate your willingness to share it with me and others.

I'll keep an eye out for it.

thank you,
ranger

I found my dyno results. No map code to be found. I didn't think there would be a specific code, as each bike would have to be dialed in depending on what pipes and engine specifications it has when using the thundermonsters. Anyway, if you decide on getting thundermonsters and a powercommander, you will not be sorry.

Have a safe summer.
