Question Stock Exhaust w/Stage 1

When I trade or sell my bike I'd like to remove the aftermarket slipon's (Bub Sleepers) but leave the Stage 1 kit with the remap/download intact. I'd replace the aftermarket slipon's with the stock HD exhaust. Question: will this result in any issues?

If you have the SE or other high perf. aftermarket air cleaner/breather, you should be fine. The stage 1 flash is designed for the SE ac kit with stock exhaust. If you have the stock ac, you might be a little rich. I've run the stock mufflers with the SE ac/breather/flash and on my '04 Road Glide and it ran perfectly.

If you still have the stock ac/breather, you could always just put your stock mufflers back on and see how it runs. It shouldn't hurt anything and if you are running too rich, then have it flashed back to stock.

THANKS! er320. Your answer is exactly what I was hoping for. My exerience is that when I go to sell a bike I get little or nothing for chrome and pipes. Therefore, I want to remove as much as possible. I do have the SE Stage 1 kit (K&N Breather) with the download. I don't want to pay for a reflash when I sell the bike so I plan to leave the Stage 1 on but I'd like to remove the BUB slipons and use them on the next bike. Sounds like I should have no problem doing this whatsoever! THANKS!!!!
