Top notch all around, I think the only pipes that are better performance-wise (2 into 2 pipes at least) are the V&H Big Shots Staggered. I was going to get this set (Bassani's) myself before I decided I would rather have 2 into 1 pipes. I have two friends with the Bassani pipes on their bikes (Deuce and Softtail Std.), and they sound great and look great, and since I always get left behind (haven't put my new pipes on yet! lol), I'd have to say they perform well also!

Interesting cos the one I'm interested in is a 2:1. Kinda radical looking with a flicked up look like an old Brit cafe racer but I like it and it would solve my ground clearance prob a treat.

Just put the slash cut bassani Slipons on my UltraClassic. Man, what a sound! I love it.

Quiet at idle, then a nice low, thunderous sound on acceleration. Rich, deep, quality sound. Cruising is a low rumble which doesn't get in the way of the music, but let's the cagers know something on two wheels is nearby.

I have Samson True Dual Crossovers (without baffles) on my RK, and the Samons are certainly louder, but there is some similarity in sound. Overall, I'd say the Bassani's are a more deeper, tone-downed, full bodied sound.

Did I mention the looks. Wow! Great. They extend about 1/2" beyond where the stock mufflers did.

I could not be happier with my choice.
