SE 16G Double Barrel vs V&H Big Shots?

Hi,

What is the difference between the SE 16G Double Barrel exhaust ayatem and the V&H Big Shots??

Looking at the images on line of the two them look identical..

If you have got up close and personal with these pipes I would be interested to hear from you and your thought on these pipes..

Just went down to the dealer (in the UK) and the price for the SE pipe was quite high so I am probably going to look at getting it in from the US which will probably save quite a bit but will need to find a dealer/ online retailer in the US that is willing to ship to the UK..

Later..

Maybe not to much difference, just in name and price. I've got the SE Double Barrels and I love them. They have the a loud, but lower tone to them. No high pitch what so ever! I had the 1450 ST1 EFI kit, as well as the Dynojet installed with the pipes. The price of the pipes was $499.95, the dynajet was $74.95, and the EFI kit was 139.95. I also had the baffles taken out later, but that's just me. I hope this help and I back my pipes %100. I get so many compliments, I don't know whether its the rider or it's the bike itself .

The "power chamber" or crossover area in the 16 gauges is visually longer/larger than the VH or Python pipes. See the 2004 SE catalog, I believe Softail section, has a pic.

The SE pipes can use the VH baffs interchangeably....the SE baffs give a nice sound, but a bit restricted compared to the STD VH and their "Quiet" version.

My 16 gauges make good power with the VH STD baffs, what I run.
