Big Radius Pipes by Vance & Hines

I just installed the NEW big radius 2 into 2 pipes by Vance & Hines last night on my 2004 FLSTFi (Fatboy).

These pipes are in limited production and back ordered from the manufacturer on many internet sites that carry vance and hines!

The pipes are awesome with regards to fit and finish and ease of installation. These pipes actually allow you to access the head bolts while the crome outter shields are installed. Many pipes shields interfere with headbolt access. It's a little tricky getting the 2 heads shields per pipe perfectly aligned where they meet and which direction to place the hose clamp screw (up/down), but the rest of the install is very easy.

The pipes tuck-in close to the engine/frame and follows the natural geometry of the bike! They look like custom show pipes and not the garden variety after market mass production pipes made for the billion harley owners out there.

Retail is about $660.00, but I paid $510.00 w/free shipping & no tax in california on www.cyclespot.com.

Thumbs up I used the Baffles

I called Vance & Hines before I bought them and they said they would be louder than their Big Shots (which I have mucho experience) because they direct the exhaust toward the ground and it ricochets back at the rider!

I'm running the baffles and screaming eagle air filter & back plate. In my opinion, they're pretty load, but not abnoxiously loud. We'll see how they sound and feel on the highway. I still have to get my bike mapped and the ECM calibrated before I put the bike through the paces.

More to come!
