Deepest growl without super loud bark
Getting a fuel injected night train and looking for some direction on a good exhaust system. I like a deep growl without being super loud and would like an increase in hp and torque if possible. Any Recommendations or experiences are welcome.
Thanks.

I will be taking receipt of my RKC EFI in May, If you are not getting your bike before that I will let you know what I do to my bike. I was at the dealer the other day and will want the Stage 1 air filter, chip, and stilldeciding on exhaust. The parts guy said I could come by on a Saturday to check out sone Twin cam 88's with diff. setups. I'll let you know what I decide.

V and H Bigshot Longs or staggerd
V and H Bigshot Longs or staggerd have a good deep sound and both have the crossover chamber to help performance.
Ride safe.

You could go with the SE 16 Guage double barrel exhaust. Not as screamin loud as the bigshots but a definite low pitched growl. Have them on my 03 Fatboy and love um. Does not annoy the neighbors on those late night returns but can get hairy when want it too. Its been said it has the sound a 60's muscle car. Great performance as well, they say it acts like a 2 to 1 pipe with its large crossover. No complaints here.

How different is the sound from the SE slip ons. Are they louder or quieter at idle? Do they look like the stock shotguns?
Thanks

The V&H Bigshots with their quiet baffles are really deep and rich, and have no obnoxious loud bark at all. They just sound powerful.

Go out and listen. From your description check out V&H Ovals. But go to a dealer or some hangout, listen and ask. The forum can't so sound well.

When I get off to open the garage door and my fatboy is running with the SE 16 guage and my wifes heritage with the SE slip ons is running next to it. You can here the slip ons are a bit louder but you can feel and here the low rumble of the 16 guage but the earlier comment was right, go to the dealer and give them a listen. Everyone likes something a little different so get what you want.

Thanks for the replies
But I guess the only way to be sure is to go out and listen for myself. I'll keep you posted.
