Yes, My cousin has a 03' Screamin Eagle Road King with the megaphone's. One word, "AWSOME"!!! I have yet to hear a better set of pipe's. You ought to hear it just idleing. WOW! I have a 03' V-Rod, if Bassani could come out with a set of pipe's that keep's the V-Rod stock look, and sound like those,I would be the first in line!!!

P.S. He also has a power curve.

I was kinda gettin' scared that no one seemed to have heard of the Bassani's Megaphones...thanks for the input.

With all of the muffs that are available..."AWSOME" is a strong recommendation.

I think that I WILL give them a go and be the only kid on the block with this type of pipe...unique...

Thanks again Dave...have a good Thanksgiving.

I have the brand new full 2 into 1 road rage reverse cone megaphone setup on my classic, very low rumble, at cruising speed can hear the radio without problems if you wish and most importantly my big bike previously ran out of steam at 95mph and now feels like it is just waking up at 80 to 90 mph.

Very nice...not really so loud that I would have to turn off my hearing aid but loud enough that folks would know I'm on my way.

Obviously makes the engine breath a little easier for a better VE at higher speeds...

And thank you Russg for the photo and review

Tom over at NCC told me about these pipes back in July, but I never saw them on their website, he was just getting ready to take a set to sturgis at the time.

Anyway, I've been interested in getting info ,but can't find any. What can you tell me about these pipes, I notice that they are using an equal-length design and it seems like the pipe are stepped. Also, are there any heat shields for it and how hard was the install?

Thanks!

PS How much?

Update, my cousin with the 03' Road king is running dual pipes. Might make a difference.

cannibal,
July is about the time when I aquired this pipe. I had just read a small clip in a magazine and called NCC about it. I was just ready to buy a T-Header but decided to go for it and get this pipe not knowing any hard facts other than Tom's sales pitch.
It is a well engineered pipe as you mention, the head pipes are equal length with a unique pig tail design on the back cylinder (which causes many people to stop and stare and bike events) and stepped as well and they are ceramic coated to retain heat inside the pipe which is known to help keep energy of the gases flowing out the pipe, the ceramic coating is a cool unique finish and it also helps keep the pipe a bit cooler on the outside so heat shields are really not needed for heat protection anyway. It then dumps into a collector and out a very nice 4" high quality muffler, the muffler has a baffle with a crossbar through the middle to provide some backpressure. The pipe has a very deep rumble and sounds great without being completely obnoxious. Seat of the pants feel on my basically stock bike aside from the usual stage 1 setup it feels equal to possibly only a fraction less power on the low end as my stock header with performance slip-ons were, on the top end it feels so much better and smoother. Not that I run high speeds with my bagger that often but you know how it is when your runnin with your buddies and your bringin up the rear all the time. My bike would seem like its really trying hard from about 80-85 and had no more than 95 tops. When I put this pipe on it feels like it could cruise all day at 90 plus without effort. More importantly it feels stronger when your passing traffic on those 2 lane roads. I plan on doing work to the heads and changing the cam. This pipe is the perfect option if you plan on doing future performance upgrades, I think it will really shine with engine upgrades. I wish was able to also bolt on the T-Header just for comparison sake. Installation was a breeze, they did there homework and designed a well fitting, good performing pipe. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Russ
