Got my RB Pipe yesterday

My RB 124 Challange pipe came in the mail yesterday. Man is it a beautiful pipe, BUT it does not fit.

The front pipe makes contact with the large S&S cam cover. (When I ordered it I did state it had this cam cover so we could avoid this problem)

I sent them an email with these picts and they said I would have to "space" the pipe out.
I imagine the "spacer" will be a thicker billet exhaust gaskets, thus allowing the pipe to sit a little lower from the head, changing the path of the pipe just enough to miss the cover.

Has this happened to anyone else, and have you "spaced" your pipe out? Did everything work ok after that? I kind of feel they should have bent the pipe correctly and this is just a bandaide on a $800 pipe.

What is your experience with this?

keep us posted. They state on their website that if you are running the S&S timing cover that the pipe will have to be ordered that way. Just got my pipe last week from them...BEAUTIFUL

Every time I see this kind of stuff about RB, I just reach down and pet my dog. I love their pipes but detest their attitude.

That sounds like people on Amazon... complaining about a product because they didn't read the description.
