Rush True Duals
On my 2012 EG Limited, Rush had sent me 3 pipes, the problem was the clearance on the rear brake clevis, after installing 3 replacement pipes, I go to Daytona for Biketoberfest the mechanic from Rush looks at it, yup we have shorter hanger for that front pipe. It would been nice to have received this new modified hanger in the first place. Time wasted, and money.

Rush Tech took about 15 minutes. Looks nice, but if I hadn't gone to Daytona, I am wondering why they didn't send me the hanger.

Rush also sent three front head pipes for my 2011 limited. They all made contact with the rear brake clevis, two bolts on the timing chain cover, drive belt and guard, and the transmission. The story I got was my bike is unique and "Harley's are like snow flakes and no two are alike" It was clear Rush was not taking responsibility for an improperly engineered head pipe. Having spent the money and not wanting to spend again for a different brand, I took a ball peen hammer and massaged the pipe to give clearance.

Was going to do that also, but ceramic coated inside and out. Well the little hanger for the front pipe fixed it, but it cost me time and money. I like the product, but they made it out to be on my end, and it sure wasn't.

They are not doing themselves any favors by trying to pass it on as operator error. Eventually the masses will catch on. The ceramic coating didn't seem to be affected by the ball peen treatment. I expected the ceramic to crack off but din't. It wouldn't have mattered as the pipe was unusable as it was made. I hope Rush figures this out. "Harley's are like snowflakes". Give me a break.
