Ok here's one for ya. My frienf has a 12 Ultra Limited, decatted pipe, 254e cams, RC Rival Chrome 4" Mufflers and a SE Breather and tuned on the dyno with a SEST. This combo made 93hp and 105tq. The guys at my dealer say there getting as much hp and tq by just decatting and tune. It's your choice but if I bought a new bike I'd decat and tune.

Does he have a 96" or a 103? (or a 110???)

The difference between a new head pipe and a gutted cat is about 2 hp. You will not notice the difference. You can confirm this on the FuelMoto web page. They have a dyno run showing a stock 2009 (no cat) and a Jackpot header.

Depending on what tuner you use, you will not connect the O2 sensors. The Power Commander V comes with instructions not to use the O2 sensors unless you are also using the Auto Tune. In that case, you will need the 18mm bungs that are positioned up near the heads, instead of the 12mm that are near the cat on the stock pipes.
