Fuel injected and sound

Can anyone tell me what pipes would be the loudest for a fuel injected bike. I have heard all the horror stories about Fuel injection. I just want to put the loudest pipes i can on my bike.(03 Nighttrain)

Any drag pipes, Your bike won't run worth a dammm but hey, it will be loud. If you have EFI, you need some back pressure.

If you want top performance and louder than stock, there are only three pipes to consider.
If you plan to go no larger than 95" in the future, go with the Thunderheader. It is loud enough to irritate neighbors and cops. On a Night Train, the black ceramic looks awesome.
On an engine 103" or larger, you will want : White Brothers Series E or Vance & Hines Pro Pipe H/S. Yes, these are all 2 into 1 systems, It took me a while to get used to the looks but I value performance above all else. As an added bonus, the sound is a deep rumble instead of a tinny sound produced by drag pipes.

Thumbs up Loud and Proud

I have an '03 FLHRI with a set of Hooker Headers True Dual Tunable Exhaust. Also a Stage 1 kit to provide more air flow on the front end and richen the injection back up from the exhaust change. Harley usually sets up the bikes a little lean from the factory. I have to say I have no complaints about this setup. The pipes are loud and tunable for tourque or horsepower or anywhere in between. I was worried about not having that deep rumble I was used to with my last carbed bike. The Hookers have returned the rumble to this EFI bike. My RK has a smooth curve and throttle response all the way through. The horsepower setting is probably the loudest between the two. Rinehart pipes are loud also. However, most I have heard have a higher pitched sound. One thing to keep in mind - You get what You pay for.....

I put Rineharts on my 00 FLHRI and wanted the look of dual mufflers. They are loud, not harsh, when you twist the wick. Cruising they aren't that bad. Much better then Drag Pipes.

Actually neither yet and after all I told you in the last post I have had to regroup. The advice I gave you is from three months of searching for the right pipes for a 103" stroker conversion. I have surveyed four Tech groups, two forums, three Dyno tuners and several Tech websites. I stand by the opinion that a 2 into 1 system will give you the best performance. However after recieving the last of my survey information this morning, I have decided to go with the Black Ceramic Thunderheaders. Part of this is because I ride a Night Train. I think I may be sacrificing a slight amount of performance but they are the only 2 into 1 system that I like the looks of.

Talking

I have 03 FXSTI with Sampson Big Gun Short Slashers with power commander and high flow air cleaner. Sound is killer, power is killer, wouldn't trade for nothing. Well maybe 95 inch would be nice. Had dealer tell me that my bike is louder than anyother there. If they have it in service and fire it up, it vibrates throughout building, Man I love that.
