Looking For Straight Pipes For Fat Boy?

Im sure its been covered here, but I am usually over in the V-Rod forums and have a friend I ride with who wants pipes as loud as humanly possible, so I assume straight pipes. Can anyone point me towards a loud pipe (or pipes) that hopefully does not rob performance too hard, although he rides pretty mellow? Any links to a manufacturers website would be appreciated so I can print this stuff out for him

I appreciate your taking the time to read and respond with your opinions.

Vance & Hines Big Shots

Can't go wrong with the Big Shots, I have the Big Shots Staggered on my Fatboy and love the look and sound and a buddy has the Big Shots Longs and his sound even louder.

If you want loud, check out Samson pipes. I got
the Streetsweepers on my '00 Fatboy. Look good
and sound awesome. You need to install tork cones
to keep the low end torque. Check 'em out at
Samsonusa.com
Hope it helps..............dzlfitr

-Major Attitude-

If you are interested, I have some Samson "Wildcat" pipes from their Challenger Series that I recently replaced on my Fatboy with the V&H Big Shots Staggered. They are in great condition and sound great. I sent you a PM, if you send me an email I can forward on a pic of my Fatboy with the pipes on them. I have provided a link below from the Samson website with a pic of the pipes, which retail for $500. I would be will to sell them for considerably less.

S-302 "Wild Cat"
Challenger Exhaust System
Fits 1991 to Present
Softail Models
Price = $499.95

03Fatboy is on a distinguished road
I can say enough about the Python Quick Strikes I just installed on my 03 FLSTFI. They are made by V&H and install easy. The sound with baffles installed is LOUD. We compared our bikes at break today and everyone wanted me to turn my off So if your friend got a set of these and they were not loud enough he could pull the baffles and increase the DB.

But everyone was floored by the tremendous sound they produce. I just love them!

Honkylips...I don't have a digital camera, hell I don't even have a computer at home. I'll see if my neighbor will snap some pics
and post them. Probably start a new thread with the pics.
