Just purchased and installed a set of Vance and Hines short shots staggered and a fuel pak for my 2009 FLSTF Fatboy. The bike is stock other than the harley davidson stage one dowload I had installed when I added the screamin eagle air filter. I wanted to let all of you know I had read some pretty discouraging threads on this exhaust and a few negatives on the fuel pak as well. I am writing this thread to state that the negative statements about short shots staggered and the fuel pak are not true, in fact I have had great results. I can certainly tell with the old butt dyno that the bottom, mid, and top have all been increased in power from the D & D slip-ons that I had on the bike previously and the fuel delivery is perfect - no pops or hicups and the bike starts easier cold or hot. Now that I have that off my chest I will also state that I'm sure there are pipes out there that make more power than these pipes,such as two into one systems or pipes that have exhaust scavenging. But if your looking for that short style and that booming twin sound I think this is a great combo. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
