Quiet 2-into-1 for my '07 Ultra?

Does such an animal exist? Every 2 into 1 I've heard is loud as hell. I have rineharts now, but want to changeover to a 2 into 1 for two reasons:

1. heat control and stop burning my left leg when stopped
2. performance gains

V & H makes a few kinds, but I've heard them and they are stupid loud.

Any suggestions?

Oh, and an added benefit: no removing a left muffler to change the rear tire! That was a real chestnut to remove when I did my rear tire by myself...

The stock onr that comes on some of the 2010s is queit. Going aftermarket is alway somewhat loud. If you are looking for medium loud, I would look at the supertrapp 2in1, it is the quietest of the bunch.

I run a D&D Fat Cat with the Big Bore Quiet baffle on my 120. Very quiet on light throttle or cruising, Decent bark when you get on it.

I run the D&D Fat Cat w/ quiet baffle. I like it. It's not the big bore, so probably a little quieter than Rob's.

Actually the RB Blackhole will probably be the quietest and the most expensive also.

I am not sure there, but I would guess it might need a modified clamp - since the system was stock, there wouldn't be any real performance from it. Take a look at the collector on those, it appears to be 2". The supertrapp 2in1 is supposed to be the quietest aftermarket 2in1, use fewer rings and it will be, but you performance will suffer. You aren't going to get good performance when it is corked up so tight.

There has to be a happy medium. In order to get performance and quiet, the muffler(s) have to be larger, there is a limit here because after a certain size, they will scrape around corners.

I run the D&D FatCat w/quiet baffle on mine. Very neighborhood friendly.
I had the RB Racing Black Hole previously. Although quieter than the FatCat, it was too free flowing and lost some tq on the bottom.
I am very happy with the FatCat.

My vote would be for the Supertrap Supermeg but you already said that you don't like the looks.
