2005 low rider exhaust

What is the best perforamce slip on muffler to give the most power and still a good sound when you crack back the throttle for a 2005 dyna low rider?

I've got an 04 and ended up with SE 2's. I had a fair amount of performance parts added and had V & H short shots on. I those pipes could only muster a little over 60hp. The dyno tuner suggested switching to the SE 2's and I got 92 hp out of those slip-ons. I can't say they are the best ones to use, but you certainly couldn't go wrong with them.

Cycle Shacks. Good performance, good pipe, good prices.

I agree Cycle Shack or D&D slip-ons are the way to go. In conjuction with stock headpipes (with the cross over tube) these two slip-ons out performed many (more expensive) complete exhaust systems and some two into one headers, at a fraction of the cost. According to I believe it was a Cycle World Magazine exhaust system shootout. In the shootout they had a sidebar article about the unexpected suprise numbers they found while on the dyno using the Cycle Shack and D&D slip-ons while utilizing the stock headpipes. I have the stock headpipes and EVO Screamin Eagle slip-ons my 2000 Wide Glide TC88. The EVO slip-ons are smaller Diameter than the Screamin Eagle 2's and have a diverter baffle design (more for back pressure than noise reduction) rather than a repackable baffle core (which also lowers the decibels and probably adds a little more back pressure too). The EVO SE slip-ons appear to be identical to the Cycle Shack slip-on design I looked at while at Zippers in Baltimore, Maryland. I am very happy with the performance, but they are loud.

SE II's. But you can't buy them anymore, unless you find a dealer that has some old stock laying around. So I bought a pair of D&D pipes used for $50 from someone,& threw 'em on my carbed Fatso--Major torque & HP increase, & the best sound I ever heard;it's actually as close to a Shovel as I've ever heard a Twin Cam sound!
