Hines Big Radius or Ness Slasher on Softail?

Hi Everyone!

This is my first Harley so this is very important to me. I'm thinking like Easy Rider circa 1996, the bikes I grew up reading about.

I'm currently running a Rinehart 2 into 1 on my 07 FXST and it's great, but the 2 into 1 is not the look I'm going for so it's got to go.

I found two smokin deals and as such I have a Vance and Hines Big Radius 2-2 and a Ness Slasher 2-2 sitting brand new in box in my garage.

Here's my dilemma: They both look good but a lot of people are running around with the VH Radius. I'm trying to take this bike off the beaten path so there's definetly a plus for the Ness Slasher system, but that's all I really know about it.

How do they stack up when it comes to performance and sound? I don't want to try both of them because I'd like to sell the set I don't go with in new condition so I'm turning to you all.

What can you say about them?

I'll let you know what the bike is an what it's got:

07 FXST

Performance:
103 SE cast piston kit
103 SE heads (out for port/polish)
30t Andrews drive pulley
51mm TB (out at HPI right now)
PC III USB
Woods TW6-6 cams
Andrews adjustable pushrods
SE heavy breather ( I know, not very original, maybe go to a Roland Sands on in the near future )

Style:
Performance Machine billet forward controls
Joker Machine billet hand controls
Ness billet mirrors
Ness billet primary cover
Pro One billet rockers
Jims billet lifter blocks / pushrod covers
Ness billet cam cover
RC Components chrome wheels/rotors/pulley
Performance Machine chrome calipers
Wild 1 drag bars
Pro One fat billet trees
Tearing down right now for custom paint and powdercoating frame
and the list goes on...

As you can see, even though no Harley is truly original (it's all been done before), in the details it will stand out from most of the other bikes in the dealer's parking lot or the local show-n-shine.

So... an honest and desperate question here:

VH Big Radius or Ness Slashers and why?

(I didn't know if hotlinking was allowed so remove the space after the www)

Thanks a lot!

I'd go with the big radius. I've had them before and like the look and performance.
