exhaust help

just bought 08 roadking police model,103ci. nice bike and runs good with my 350lbs. on it. i would like to upgrade exhaust, was thinking V&H dresser duals and slip-on mufflers, fuel delivery, and use HD performace backing plate air cleaner. looking for more tq and overall performance. have not ridden 15yrs so I'm a little out of the loop and can use some help.

If you want more torque, Duals are not the way to go.... i run a thunderheader on a stock 96" ultra and you can feel the difference between the true duals and the 2-1 (I had rinehart TD's prior). most here will suggest a D&D Fatcat or a supertrap, both, from what i've read, are excellent choices... but you cant beat the sound of a thunderheader...

thanks torque is a important to me,i don't want to loose it. i looked at thunderhead 2into 1 long style falsee left side. i like look of 2 mufflers but am worried false side may look too false. any thoughts on that?

You get used to it and others do not even notice. Go with a supertrapp and don't look back. the supertrapp can be the quietest of all of them(except the stock ones on '10 models - the collection chamber is too small for high performance).

checked out supertrap 2:1 and v&h pro pipe 2:1 both look pretty good and i could get used to one muffler look. now got to make up my mind. super trap looks like it can be tuned in on a dyno, that my be best option. also would like to have bike on dyno for base reading before changing exhaust.

I gotta agree with the 2 into one tuneable pipe like White Bros had---- v&h IS A CLOSE knock off. Try and get the ones with tuneable plates on the back so you can change your torque point Low or High end. I have all my in and got great torque off the line as well as changed the front pully and a big guy like you may like that.
Also I saw the ones that are black and chrome and those really make the beauty lines flow if you get the right combo. JMO

The company, White Bros, was integrated into V&H's business.
