Kuryakyn Crusher slip-on

I just installed kuryakyn crusher mufflers on my 09 Road King Classic, really disappointed with sound and looks. The sound is not deep at all, barely louder than stock, wife even said they sound like crap. Looks not much better, Trident tips too fat, almost look robotic. Overall very bad decision. Looking to dump them.

I wonder what the difference is. I have a set on my 06 RK and they sound great. Very nice low rumble at idle and good bark when accelerating. I have true duals if that makes a difference.
