Tuneable mufflers

Ok I have heard both theories of which baffle to open or close but Im looking for a no SH!t answer. Do I tune the front cyl pipe for HP and the rear for TQ or vice versa? Or do you guys know of a better way to do it to get optimal performance?

I know with Supertrapp mufflers you tune the rear cyl. pipe for TQ and the front for HP,this is for touring models with the factory style headers.

That is inline with what i have heard, but I guess my question is more specificly how much baffle in the rear and how open in the front? Right now I have both set at about half open and it runs great, but i think there is a little more in it if I adjust it right.
