Remove the bolt, and slide them out.

If they have been in there for a while, they may be stuck from the carbon build up. In that case, you'll have to make a hook and pull the baffle out with some good tugs.

Sometimes it's hard to find anything to attach to to get enuff grip to pull out the baffle if they are carboned up. Most of the baffles are 1/4 in course thread. Pull out the short screw from the outside and put a 1 inch long one in the hole from the inside of the pipe threading it in just enuf to hold on to the welded nut. Wrap your wire around that bolt. I spray some good degreaser/cleaner in the baffle and let it run in the baffle holes a little for lube. Then pull the baffle out with the wire.

My 2 cents says the stock baffles on 'new' V&H pipes are loud enough, but to each his own!!!!! JMHO.

the front pipe baffle just slid out for me after i took out the set screw. The rear one was a different story.

first i took out the set screw, wrapped the little flange inside the baffle with some wire. I then took the other end of the wire and wrapped it around a fence post, sprayed some wd-40 in it....THEN I STARTED TUGGING!!! LOL

It took a couple of good tugs to get it loose, once it came out about a 1/2 in. i was able to pull it out the rest of the way with my hands.

Kind of a jimmy-rigged way of getting them out, but it worked for me!!

I also have a baffling baffle problem.I just put the quiet baffles in my V&H Big Shots. One was a piece of cake to do but oh man that other one is still giving me problems. I got it in there with a good bit of soft hammering and now the darn thing is obviously stuck on the fiberglass and jammed. Plus it's just about a half inch too far in to put the screw back. When I started the bike up hoping to loosen it a bit that way it started to smoke out of that pipe. I assume it's the tape that is burning up??? Thoughts??? Will this thing ever come out? Or am I gonna have to leave it without s screw to hold it? How the heck to I get it out to re-fiber glass it? It really sound great. Am I safe just leaving it as is? I hate to because I'm kind of a perfectionist and this will bug me until it's right.
Thanks for any help. I feel so darned stupid.

The bottom one came out easy as pie. The top one was the one that gave me hell. After a few minutes of scratching my head while holding a beer with the other hand I came up with an easy solution. Take a pair of needle nose pliers and grab one of the cut outs inside the baffle and tap the pipe with a rubber mallet. It took a little time but came out. Oh yeah you have to take out the set screws (Allen wrench) on the side of the pipe that is closer to the engine. you can't miss it if you know about it, now you do. I also have to agree with NJ RIFF RAFF. The stockers are loud enough. When I took mine out I rode it to and back from work for just two days before they were back in. Way too much glug, glug, in decel and between every gear for me but it did sound bad ass on the road and a lot louder. By the way the Big Radius pipes do not have anything else in the pipes but the baffles so no fiberglass or tape will be burning. I am thinking Big City Thunder Baffles for my Big Radius. Anybody have these in theirs, any thoughts on them in V/H B/R pipes??

Just look up inside the end of the pipe, and you'll see a set screw in each one. Unscrew it, and pull them out, but like some of the others said, if they've been in there a while, you might have to tug on them some. I have that same exhaust on my bike, and pulled the baffles out for a short time, and put them back in, I thought it sounded like s#!t without baffles, but you might like it, try it, they ain't hard to get in and out.
